This company is looking to add a Billing Coordinator who can establish themselves with a growing and diversified company offering potential for future growth opportunities. The successful candidate will report to the Controller and will perform routine financial and accounting tasks. This candidate’s key responsibilities are focused on managing and optimizing cash flow.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

- Invoice Preparation: Generate, review, and send accurate invoices to clients based on services rendered.
- Data Entry: Enter billing information into accounting software, QuickBooks promptly to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile billing records with customer payments and resolve discrepancies. Assist with collections as needed.
- Client Communication: Address any billing inquiries or disputes from clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing processes comply with company policies and legal regulations to maintain operational integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely within the accounting and project teams to resolve issues or provide additional support as needed.
- Ad hoc Tasks: Assist with accounting tasks as directed by your supervisor to support overall team objectives.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 -$70,000.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
- Education: An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience or a related field. Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance is advantageous.
- Proficiency with PC and Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central Accounting Software a plus9-*9-*8/
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multi-task and resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in processing data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Position Details:
- Location: This is a full-time, office-based position located in either our New Jersey or New York office.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with the following shift options:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
