We're seeking a Fabric R&D Assistant to join our Women's Fabric R&D team. Join us!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all Fabric R&D charts & PLM (Centric and Airtable) with fabric detail information
- Manage all PO/Invoice issuing/receiving in PLM and Coupa, including processing all New Vendor Registration and Change Requests
- Support Fabric R&D Manager in requesting all fabric documents (FDS/FSS) from overseas mills to ensure all developments are in accordance with Theory’s Global Fabric Manual/Standards.
- Own and maintain seasonal liability chart with all overseas/domestic mills and partners to track fabric ownership and availability
- Support Fabric R&D Manager in Lab Dip Process from initial development to pre-production
- Assist Fabric R&D Manager in communicating allocation and shipment of all seasonal tailoring, proto, and SMS yardage to overseas and domestic partners
- Request and organize all sustainability and traceability documentation from mill partners during development cycle
- Assist in maintaining/creating physical assets: Seasonal boards, Fabric Cards, Fabric Rails, Merch Books, etc.
- Manage package shipments and receivals for fabric development process
- File, Organize and Manage fabric/color archive and seasonal selection organization via pricing, filing, and general upkeep
- Conduct midtown sourcing and supplier runs when necessary
Minimum Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 yrs experience in Fabric R&D or Product Development, and/or other relative experience
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Adobe Programs, Centric PLM knowledge a plus
- Ability to demonstrate strength and focus in achieving operational excellence
- A keen, detail-oriented approach to organizing both physical and digital data/assets
- Openness to learn, adapt, and develop skills through constructive feedback
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills
- Adaptability to perform under both independent and cross-functional/teamwork settings
Salary range: $24.00/hr-25.00/hr*
