Role Objective:
You’re the key driver of KRUU's marketing success in the United States. As our Marketing & Strategic Growth Specialist you’ll bring local insights, strategy, and execution power to help us speak the right language, reach the right people, and grow the business. You’re not just giving advice, you’re taking ownership.
You’ll connect deeply with US customers, bring fresh energy to our campaign thinking, and work closely with our team in Germany to make the KRUU brand resonate authentically in the American market.
To achieve this position's goals, success requires a strategic, data-driven marketing leader with entrepreneurial energy, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional leadership.This position must blend creativity and commerce, translating insight into execution and execution into measurable growth.
All candidates will be asked to complete an aptitude test and project. Role preferred to be in-person at our Michigan headquarters but we are open to a hybrid candidate living within the Eastern Time zone. Domestic and International travel is to be expected.
Role Scope:
1. Understand the US Market & Customer Needs
- Define and evolve localized personas & value propositions
- Deep-dive into buyer psychology, event trends, and photo booth competition
- Adapt copy, visual style, offers, and messaging to maximize relevance and trust
2. Build Strategy & Campaigns That Perform
- Create campaign strategies tied to US seasonality and buying behaviors
- Define key growth levers and prioritize channels (CRM, Ads, SEO, Website etc.)
- Collaborate with DE teams to implement, test and improve quickly
3. Drive Measurable Results
- Own core KPIs: US bookings, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, revenue
- Build reporting to track success
- Turn tests into playbooks, experiments into scale
4. Build Bridges Across Teams
- Be the go-to person for all things US marketing
- Sync weekly with CRM, Paid, Brand, Website, and Founders
- Bring cultural and strategic clarity to every cross-team effort
5. Shape the KRUU Brand in the US
- Define what “KRUU” means in the American market
- Plan long-term growth: strategy, team scaling, partnerships
- Make our brand, our product, and our campaigns feel like they belong in the US
