About the role:
The Credit Review Analyst II – Auto Finance Fraud is responsible for performing independent and unbiased monitoring and assessments of the company's credit activities with an emphasis on detecting fraud and misrepresentation. This team member will work closely with the Dealer segments by monitoring compliance and proactively addressing loans originated with fraud or misrepresentation.
In this role you will:
- Review Excel-based red flag reporting to identify accounts requiring fraud investigation
- Investigate loan originations for fraud or misrepresentation by reviewing loan documentation and systems used to underwrite, fund, and collect accounts
- Identify underwriting and funding weaknesses, address areas of non-compliance, and recommend changes when necessary
- Assist in the development and support of models, analysis, and reporting related to the soundness of credit activities
- Perform quality monitoring by analyzing, summarizing, and monitoring compliance with credit policies and procedures
- Consult with management and make recommendations on policy exceptions and control weaknesses
- Create reports for management with actionable recommendations for improving operations, efficiencies, and internal controls
- Research and develop strategies to stay current with industry fraud trends and resources
- Assist in training team members and other departments to help identify fraud accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in auto lending, finance, or banking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data mining and filtering)
- Ability to plan, execute, and improve work processes to meet business objectives
