Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Piping Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed piping drawings and bid package documents for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Duties
- Develop detailed piping layouts, schematics, and system designs using CAD software.
- Prepare technical drawings, installation instructions, and system documentation with attention to detail and clarity.
- Prepare Equipment General arrangements, Piping Plans, Sections, Isometrics.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
- Maintain version control of drawings and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical piping design within industrial or construction environments.
- Proficiency with CAD tools including AutoCAD, SolidWorks is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISA symbols and P&IDs is a plus.
- Knowledge of process piping design and pipe support systems related to industrial facilities. Services include chemicals, gas, chilled water, steam, and condensate.
- Familiarity with Industrial facility safety requirements and the ability to do site visits to measure and observe existing conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
