Nature Of Work
The Social Media Coordinator will support the day-to-day management and content execution across Denver Summit FC’s social media platforms. This role will assist in building brand awareness, driving fan engagement, and amplifying the club’s voice across all digital channels. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative, and social media–savvy storyteller with a passion for sports, community, and culture.
Examples Of Work Performed
- Assists in planning, creating, and scheduling daily content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Monitors social channels, engages with fans, and identifies opportunities for real-time content and community interaction.
- Supports game-day and event coverage, including capturing behind-the-scenes content.
- Collaborates with the Director of Social Media and creative team to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity.
- Tracks performance metrics and assists with reporting and analytics to inform strategy.
- Maintains content calendars and ensures deadlines are met.
- Stays up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.
- Assists with influencer, player, and partner content coordination as needed.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Typical office conditions with flexibility for remote and on-site work at team events, matches, and community activations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed for event setup and equipment.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team schedule.
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions during games and events.
- Ability to travel 40-50% for matches, training camps, and league or media events.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field (internships and freelance experience accepted).
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
- Experience in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
- Passionate about soccer with knowledge of the sport and culture for authentic fan engagement.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, or native platform insights).
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Compensation
- Base range of $24-$26 per hour
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
