Description
The Part-Time Graphic Designer is the visual storyteller for Red Door's brand. This role is responsible for translating marketing objectives and creative concepts into compelling visual designs that engage our audience and maintain brand consistency across all channels. The ideal candidate is a versatile and efficient creator who can manage multiple projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.
This role will start as a part-time position, with the possibility of growing into a full-time role down the road—depending on business needs and how well the fit feels on both sides.
Responsibilities
- Design a wide range of marketing and promotional materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, email banners, episode images, and mockups for new website designs.
- Assist in the creation and updating of print materials such as brochures, flyers, mailers, posters, etc.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to bring ideas to life.
- Prepare final files for print and digital publication.
- Make design amendments and updates based on feedback from team members.
Requirements
- Proven graphic design experience, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, effective design.
- Availability to work approx. 20 hours per week.
