About the RoleWorkPlay is looking for a culture-obsessed, design-forward Social Media Manager who lives and breathes the online world the way top lifestyle brands do. This person is equal parts creative director, designer, editor, UGC producer, and community architect. They bring ideas to the table, execute them beautifully, and operate with the speed and initiative of someone who sees what needs to be done and just handles it.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation- Create and publish 2–3+ high-quality posts per week (Reels, TikTok, Carousels, or Stories).
- Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video at a high aesthetic standard.
- Design on-brand graphics (carousels, templates, editorial layouts).
- Strategically plan content for launches, campaigns, member stories, and WorkPlay lifestyle moments.
- Maintain aesthetic cohesion across IG, TikTok, Stories, and Threads.
UGC Production & Campaign Management- Source and coordinate UGC creators.
- Provide creative direction, references, and mood boards.
- Edit UGC deliverables to align with WorkPlay’s visual identity.
- Track deadlines, submissions, content rights, and deliverables.
- Capture UGC-style content yourself when needed.
Creative Direction & Trends- Present weekly trend decks, idea lists, and visual references.
- Identify cultural and aesthetic trends early.
- Help evolve and protect WorkPlay’s visual & lifestyle identity.
Community Building- Manage daily engagement: DMs, comments, reposts, member interactions.
- Capture community moments at shoots, events, and activations.
- Build micro-communities around the WorkPlay lifestyle and brand values.
Marketing & Strategy- Plan weekly content calendars and distribution strategies.
- Support campaign narratives, product launches, and storytelling arcs.
- Track performance and optimize future content.
Organization & Ops- Maintain clean, organized content libraries.
- Manage deadlines, UGC timelines, and production schedules.
- Keep workflows streamlined for leadership and cross-team visibility.

If you need external structure, slow timelines, or frequent reminders, this role will not be a fit.
Required Skills- Excellent verbal and written communication (proactive updates).
- Strong video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or Final Cut).
- Strong graphic design capabilities (Figma, Adobe Suite, or Canva Pro).
- Understanding of visual marketing, aesthetics, and editorial content.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable capturing content and directing people in person.
Preferred Skills- Experience managing or creating UGC campaigns.
- Experience with lifestyle, editorial, or aesthetic-led brands.
- Familiarity with WorkPlay’s style, ethos, and creative direction.
- Basic photography skills.
- Experience coordinating creators, UGC talent, or micro-influencers.
Compensation- Starting at $20/hr
- Approximately 15–25 hours per week to start
- Increased pay as responsibilities expand
