Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Talent Acquisition Specialist position that just opened. In this role, you will be developing relationships with universities and talent sources, administering recruitment programs and managing the recruitment process. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Location: Remote
Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Contract: 24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $55.71/hour
Schedule: Remote / Travel will be required
** College Recruiting background is preferred
** Candidate will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment
** Some travel required for events - estimate is 20%
Representative Duties and Tasks:
- Developing relationships with universities and talent sources
- Developing and administering recruitment programs
- Managing the recruitment process while ensuring compliance with laws
- Reporting on recruitment outcomes and trends
- Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements
- Identifying the right sources for advertising and posting positions
- Promoting our company to candidates and external partners
- Building a network of qualified candidates and conducting pre-screening and interviews
- Evaluating candidate evaluation tools and maintaining documentation
- Negotiating compensation packages and supporting hiring managers.
- Conducting employment background checks and advertising campaigns
- Collaborating with agencies, contractors, and online representatives
- Providing feedback on recruitment agencies and supporting various programs
- Conducting specialized or technical position searches
- Ensuring staffing aligns with our business goals
- Reporting to management on recruitment efforts
- Staying updated on EEO and ADA legislation and government compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Professional with strong problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in building productive relationships and influencing business management
- Creative thinker with advanced decision-making abilities
- Organized and excellent in communication
- Knowledgeable in various recruitment techniques and compliance
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative
