Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong background in retail store operations process knowledge and expertise. The role needs excellent requirement gathering skills to capture both business and technical needs. The candidate will be responsible for translating these needs into clear and actionable User Requirement Specifications (URS). This includes conducting workshops, facilitating discussions, and utilizing various techniques such as process mapping, user stories, and gap analysis to define user requirements. The ideal candidate will also be able to prioritize requirements, ensure they are documented accurately, and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Skillset:
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 5+ years of experience in retail or business analysis
- Deep understanding of retail store operations such as customer service, inventory management, omnichannel operations and or merchandising.
- Familiarity with key in-store systems and tools such as POS, Mobile Devices, Labor Management, Label/Ticket Printing, Planograms.
- Office applications for example Excel, SQL, BI Toolset.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs. Translate those needs into clear, actionable requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories). Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and identify inefficiencies. Recommend and help implement improvements using best-practice methodologies and defining future state. Document current and future state workflows and process and policy changes.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams. Ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Communicate findings and updates clearly to all levels of the organization.
- Solution Evaluation and Implementation Support: Assist in evaluating potential solutions (software, process changes, etc.). Support testing (UAT), training, and change management. Monitor post-implementation performance and gather feedback.
Academic qualifications/Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 88,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $180,400 per year

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
