The ideal candidate would…
·Be excited to collaborate with the Creative Director, and photo team to create product, images, and fashion photographs primarily for e-commerce
·Be a team player and self-starter
· Have strong technical and aesthetic skills in photography
Must be able to shoot and process 15 to 25 items a week (120 to 200 finished shots)
Must be comfortable utilizing an array of light boxes as well as a dedicated photo studio space.
· Have strong knowledge of professional studio lighting systems and digital cameras
· Manage high-volume product photography logistics
· Prepare lighting, cameras, and lenses for a wide variety of photographs
· Be experienced with Photoshop, lightroom, and related programs like Capture 1 and Corel Paintshop
· Have some graphic and web design knowledge
Be conversant with Instagram and Facebook. Experience with Shopify based commerce sites useful.
Required Qualifications
- Portfolio of relevant work
- Experience working as a photographer or a photographic assistant
- Expert-level Photoshop and Lightroom or similar
- Ability to work quickly and succeed in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Highly organized with an ability to use cataloging managers to allow for easy workflow
- Must be able to work with a team to execute a large volume of photo work to meet firm deadlines
Lawrence Jeffrey Estate Jewelers, in business for over 30 years, is one of the leading galleries featuring period Jewelry and museum-quality decorative arts in the United States.
Additionally, we have other distribution channels including a youthful fast paced vintage jewelry brand and a curated collection of furniture, paintings, and period décor.
We are seeking a product photographer to create product and model images for our website, social media, and occasionally print. This person will be responsible for creating photographs that accurately portray the quality of our pieces as well as the image of our firm.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
