Accounts Payable Manager

Vaco has partnered with one of our founder-led billion-dollar clients with operations across the United States to onboard an Accounts Payable Manager. They are looking for process-minded Managers with experience coming out of midmarket and larger, high-volume environments with a knack for mentoring an developing teams

Compensation: $90K + 10% Bonus
Day to day
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, including setting clear goals, providing coaching, and managing performance.
- Oversee daily workload distribution to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment cycles.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with IT/Finance Systems to optimize AP workflows within ERP and related tools.
- Lead or support system upgrades, automation efforts, and policy updates.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls and audit readiness.
- Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as primary point of contact for vendor escalations; resolve discrepancies and ensure positive vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to streamline processes and ensure proper coding, approvals, and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
