Overview
We’re a fast-growing construction company doing high monthly volume, and cash flow matters here. We’re hiring a Finance Operations & Collections Manager to run customer financing applications, control collections, and make sure money actually lands in the bank on time.
If you’re organized, assertive, and comfortable dealing with lenders, customers, and internal teams, this role has real responsibility and impact. This is not a passive accounting role. You will be expected to push files forward and close the loop.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing and submitting customer financing applications
- Following up relentlessly on approvals, conditions, and funding timelines
- Tracking job payments from start to completion
- Coordinating with production to release funds as milestones are completed
- Handling collections professionally but firmly
- Making sure no job closes without money being collected
- Monitoring receivables and flagging delays immediately
- Updating internal trackers, spreadsheets, and finance dashboards
- Communicating clearly with ownership on cash flow status
- Improving systems and processes to speed up collections
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in finance operations, AR, collections, or loan processing
- Strong follow-up skills - you don’t let things sit
- Comfortable speaking with customers about money
- Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Able to work fast in a high-volume environment
- Experience with construction, home improvement, or service businesses is a big plus
- Experience with financing platforms is a major advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
