SALARY $80,000 TO $98,000

A non-profit organization is seeking a fulltime, Contracts, Grants and Finance Specialist to work as a team member supporting the grant and contract administration requirements of the Agency. The Contracts, Grants and Finance Specialist performs grant and contract administrative activities which include preparing, examining, and revising contracts, invoicing vendors, maintaining an audit file for each contract, maintaining records and reports, drafting and editing written communication, as well as other organizational and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
CPA or Master’s Degree in Finance and a minimum of five years experience.
Duties & responsibilities but are not limited to the following:
Performs and manages fiscal and administrative activities related to designated contracts and grants. Maintains records and reports as required in conditions of award and scope of work. Monitors and executes contract processing and advises management of any problems in the processing system and proposed solutions. Serves as primary point of contact regarding fiscal and administrative processes related to designated contracts and grants, notifies senior staff of non-compliant sub-vendors. Invoices and tracks receipts related to designated grant funds. Maintains records and monitors and tracks vendors’ compliance and adherence to designated contracts and grants. Maintains grant contract files, including tracking award changes and ensuring accuracy. Responsible for advising management and appropriate staff of all contract changes. Drafts and edits written communication. Assists with and/or completes grant applications as requested. Assists with coordinating internal and external audits and liaison with all auditors. Cognizant of multiple deadlines and assures appropriate documents are submitted in a timely manner regarding all contracts and grants. Assures all vendor invoices are paid on a timely basis. Maintains “Executive File.” with agency founding documents, 501c3 status, tax exempt information, IRS filings, and prior year audited financial statements. Assists where needed when administrative staff is shorthanded. Performs all other duties as assigned. Must be available to work extended hours as needed.
