Marketing Associate Job Description
Position Summary
The Marketing Associate supports the development and execution of Janico’s marketing initiatives across digital, trade, and sales channels. This position is ideal for a creative, organized professional who takes initiative, enjoys managing a variety of projects from concept through completion, and values collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Product Content
- Develop and maintain enhanced digital marketing product content following GS1 standards, including images, copy, and product specifications
- Ensure all product content aligns with brand standards and is optimized for digital platforms
- Manage digital product information via a centralized data pool or content management system
- Oversee content syndication to customers, distributors, and online partners to ensure accuracy and consistency across channels
Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Maintain and update Janico’s website content, such as product pages, specifications, news, images, and resources
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance site usability and SEO performance
- Manage digital marketing content and campaigns across web, email, and online channels
- Collaborate on photography, video, and storytelling that highlight Janico products and brand values
- Develop and schedule content across Janico’s social media platforms. Track engagement and metrics
Product Literature & Collateral
- Coordinate updates to product literature, spec sheets, and catalogs to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
- Support new product launches with digital and print marketing materials
- Work with designers and vendors to manage production of marketing assets
Trade Shows & Events
- Coordinate logistics and planning for industry trade shows and customer events
- Manage show registration, booth setup, shipping, and collateral needs
Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate across Janico’s internal teams to support marketing needs
- Maintain brand guidelines and help ensure consistent messaging across all materials
- Assist with other marketing projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1–3 years of marketing experience (B2B or manufacturing experience a plus)
- Strong project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with content management systems
- Familiarity with digital asset management or product information management (PIM/DAM) systems preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing, and social media platforms preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
