Highlights of what the Landscape Designer is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Generates CAD computer generated designs and drafting plans.
- Designs forefronts for residential projects.
- Generates drawings for all production packages.
- Designs all models for clients.
- Prepares residential design renovations and retros.
- Administers all CAD related functions in the department.
- Generates all drawings for the department.
- Works closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
- Works from customer drawings, company drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
- Coordinates with estimating department by red lining changes and issuing drawings for estimating to issue product.
- Researches new design software and technological advances in design in order to maintain optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Landscape Designer will include, but not limited to:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Landscape Design experience is highly preferred
- One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months of horticulture design experience.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel and mathematics
- Detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule; overtime may be required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
