The Project Engineer oversees the planning and execution of small-scale electrical and mechanical projects, including estimating and tracking budgets. This role focuses on driving technical improvements in coordination with the Technical, Operations, and Strategic Projects teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement technical improvement projects within budget and timeline.
- Work with other departments and provide technical support as needed.
- Create and manage project charters with clear scope, tasks, and deadlines.
- Oversee project execution, including follow-up, documentation, and training.
- Use MS Office, CAD, and project management tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a Project Engineer role.
- Background in food processing or CPG / FMCG experience is a must.
- Practical experience working with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic components.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams.
- Skilled in using CAD software, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Well-versed in OSHA safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical training in electrical, electro-mechanical, or mechatronics disciplines.
- PMP certification is preferred; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Additional language skills in Dutch, French, Spanish, or German are an advantage.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
