We are seeking an experienced detailer to assist with project design, drawing production and field survey.
To succeed a Design Draftsman candidate has the following experience,
skills, and qualities.
● Team player
● Honesty and integrity with the desire to do excellent work.
● The use of blueprints, lasers, string-lines, bench-marks, 3D measuring laser to
measure field conditions and accurately recreate them in computer software.
● Inventor or 3d AutoCad Experience (Inventor is preferred)
● Computer Literacy (spreadsheets and data management)
● Self Starter
● A valid driver's license
● Willingness to travel
Job Duties:
● Travel to job sites and record site details by use of 3D laser, traditional measuring
tools and photography
● Assist in project design
● Prepare shop drawings for review with client and design team
● Detail drawings and digital files for use in shop and during installation
● Maintain job files and data
● Work closely with the team to better the company's processes and end product
by identifying and developing better drawing formats, construction techniques, or
manufacturing processes.
● Manage multiple projects at same time. Set priorities and manage time
effectively.
● Own your projects. Start to finish, you are responsible for the success of the
project.
Job Type: Hourly starting at $28 per hour. Pay commensurate with experience.

● Overtime when mandatory

Education:
● Associates Degree or Certificate
● Will consider with no degree who show strong skill set
Experience:
● AutoCad 3D or Inventor 5 years
● Field Measurement 3 years
Work Location:
● Primarily in office with site visits for field measuring projects.
● Occasional 2-3 day trips out of state for field measuring
