Controls Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Electrical engineer with a strong background in PLC’s, Frequency Drives, Robots, Machine Vision and networking in a high-speed production environment.
- Controls engineer will be involved in activities to ensure that manufacturing, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and requirements to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
- PC and networking support on the shop floor.
- The day to day support and optimization of manufacturing processes including troubleshooting, programming and hardware design.
- Provide technical expertise and support with manufacturing technicians.
- Work with quality and process engineers to improve quality and efficiency.
- Ability to think “outside the box”
- Familiar with start-ups
- Desire to do “whatever it takes”
Qualifications:
- Experience with Machine Vision, Marking\ Welding Lasers, Torque Drivers and Gauging a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PLC’s, Frequency Drives and Robots in a production environment
- Prefer Siemens PLC and CNC background
- Prefer Fanuc Robot Programming and Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server a plus
- PC and networking knowledge
- At least 2 years of experience in high speed manufacturing facility (Automotive Preferred)

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology
- 4 years of Industrial Automation experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
