The Role: The Junior Graphic Designer role is part of the Brand & Design team and is responsible for creating and maintaining production assets, preparing files for manufacturing, and assisting with content and photography initiatives across the Victrola and KLH product assortments. Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, this role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging, manuals, imagery, and marketing assets are accurate, consistent, and aligned with established brand and production standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and maintenance of production assets including packaging, product manuals, and product labels across our product assortment.
- Prepare and share accurate, production-ready design files with our manufacturing partners, ensuring consistency with established brand, packaging, and production standards.
- Design, update, and revise product manuals, including managing translations using internal AI-assisted tools and workflows.
- Create and update content assets such as Amazon A+ content, marketing graphics, sales presentations, spec sheets, and other promotional materials.
- Assist with product photography and video initiatives by coordinating with external partners and supporting shoot preparation and execution.
- Prepare, format, and optimize photography and video assets for use across marketing, e-commerce, and sales channels.
- Organize, maintain, and distribute creative assets within the content library for internal teams and external partners.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong creativity and design skills with the ability to execute across a variety of production and content-focused projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and explain design work clearly.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint for sales and presentation materials.
- Ability to work on-site in the Denver, CO office.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5+ years of academic and/or professional experience using design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience working with consumer brands preferred.
- Experience with consumer product packaging a plus.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to utilize standard office equipment such as a laptop, mouse, headset, printer, etc.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for 0-2 hours per day and sit 6-8 hours per day.
- This position rarely requires bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, crouching, pushing or pulling.
- This position is rarely exposed to hazards, temperature extremes and vibrations.
- This position works in an occasionally noisy environment due to call volume throughout the day.
