Joe McGuire Design is seeking a full-time Interior Design Assistant to complement the design team in our Boulder office.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in the design industry.
- 2 or 4 year degree in Interior Design.

- Excellent communication skills.
This position will be based in our Boulder office, located within walking distance from the shops, restaurants and trails. A reliable car is required for errands, site visits and showroom visits in Denver. Occasional travel to Aspen and other parts of the US may be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with design team on client revisions.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings for project team and contractors, architects, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects including meeting notes, selection sheets, AutoCAD plans, and schedules.
- Work with vendors on pricing quotes and create client proposals.
- Enter specifications into pricing software.
- Communicate with client and management at the direction of the lead designer.
- Support with furniture deliveries and installations as needed.
- Support with ordering, maintaining and returning fabric and finish samples.
- Be highly organized, detail oriented and responsive.
- Be punctual in attendance, highly motivated and dependable.
- Work closely as a team with everyone in the office.

Salary Range:
$60,000+ paid hourly, based on experience
Successful candidates will be passionate about contemporary design, have a compelling portfolio of completed work, will be experienced with FF&E, and will work effectively and collaboratively.
