Position Summary
A Territory Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and identify, pursue, build relationships, secure new business opportunities, and achieve business goals within an assigned geographic region. This role requires excellent communication, organization, listening and problem-solving skills to help to grow the company’s presence in the territory. Success in this role requires the ability to face and overcome rejections while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify new potential clients and establish several daily touchpoints with these businesses through calls, emails, and in-person visits to build relationships and generate interest.
- Proactively follow up with prospects to maintain engagement and move them through the sales funnel.
- Accompany the ASM on prospects visits and meetings to observe, learn, and gain first-hand experience in sales, strategies, relationships building, and closing techniques.
- Set up and coordinate daily meetings with prospects to discuss their needs and present solutions, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Backfill the ASM during customer events, workshops and tradeshows to represent the company, engaging with attendees, and addressing inquiries to ensure a seamless experience.
- Work alongside the ASM to input, track, and update all prospect interactions in Salesforce.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline to support informed decision-making and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all activities.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales or territory management, preferably in aesthetics.
- Have strong interpersonal skills to establish trust and build relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Self-starter and disciplined to cover assigned sales territory thoroughly through both cold-calling and lead prospecting activities
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills to be able to articulate with understanding the Company’s technology and unique value proposition.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The employee must be able to travel to and from customer sites, sometimes on short or no notice, and occasionally within tight timeframes. Thus, having ready access to a reliable personal vehicle, possessing a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance, are required and employees must be able to provide Sofwave proof of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of automobile insurance upon request. Failure to provide the same upon request, or misrepresenting an employee’s possession of those items, may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.
