Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time, in-person Licensed Civil / Structural Engineer (PE) to join our internal development team and play a meaningful role in shaping commercial projects from the earliest stages.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in site evaluation, feasibility studies, and highest-and-best-use analysis
- Lead civil and structural concepts for commercial developments
- Develop grading, drainage, detention, utilities, and structural concepts appropriate for Houston-area conditions
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and municipalities
- Lead permitting efforts and respond to agency comments
- Provide constructability and cost-awareness input that directly influences development decisions
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial construction or commercial development experience
- Strong understanding of civil and structural systems for commercial projects
- Experience navigating municipal permitting and plan review processes
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with sound engineering judgment
- Ability to work full-time in an in-person, collaborative environment
- Experience with City of Houston, Harris County, or surrounding jurisdictions
- Familiarity with Houston-area drainage, detention, floodplain, and utility coordination challenges
- Experience on redevelopment or constrained commercial sites

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
