JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Analyst, you will be a key player in executing the firm's business plan. Senior bankers will get to know you - both as a person and as a valued member of a winning team. Analysts are given a high level of responsibility as part of a deal team. Analysts formulate new business proposals, develop company forecasts and valuations, evaluate merger and acquisition scenarios, and prepare documents related to M&A and capital-raising transactions. Analysts are expected to work on all aspects of the transaction process, including participating in drafting sessions, preparing new business proposals, and attending due diligence meetings.
Analysts work independently on challenging, broad assignments that require originality and ingenuity and allow appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Analysts may also lead multiple projects that have significant scope and impact.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing Transactions (M&A, Capital Raise): Support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, etc., and liaise with relevant counterparts at the client and other advisers (accounting, legal, etc.).
- Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises.
- Drafting presentation materials, pitch decks, CIMs, RFPs, management presentations, board materials, memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue.
- Keeping abreast of key market developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics.
- Maintaining group databases.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong business writing skills.
- Notable financial modeling and valuation skills, including the 3-statement model, DCF, LBO, and operational models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate uncompromising adherence to ethical principles.
- Understanding the transaction cycle and the steps in the process.
- Commitment to daily workflow and regulatory compliance during high-volume activity.
- Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and works independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Active Series 79 license or willing to obtain a license within 3 months of hiring date.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
EDUCATION / PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years of prior work experience in an investment banking front office or a relevant role at a top-tier consulting firm (financial, accounting, commercial, or financial due diligence).
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.

- ($95,000 - $110,000) base salary plus discretionary performance bonus
