It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship (May 26th – July 31st) is designed for students looking to make full use of their talents through hands–on work experience. You’ll tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact on our organization. This paid internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to unleash their creativity, work in an amazing office in South End Charlotte and learn how we touch and enhance lives through the joy that is Krispy Kreme. A highlight of the summer is a sweet group project, where you’ll work with interns across departments to create your very own doughnut collection!
Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme’s focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder’s original recipe. The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.
ABOUT THE MARKETING TEAM:
Our Marketing team brings the Krispy Kreme brand to life for millions of fans worldwide. From crafting compelling campaigns to engaging customers through digital channels, we ensure every interaction is as sweet as our treats.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP:
- Lead a summer project in direct alignment with our 2026 strategic initiatives, with guidance and support from leadership.
- Provide creative support to the US marketing team by contributing to campaign development, including in-shop point-of-purchase (POP) materials, digital content for owned channels, and other creative needs.
- Assist with updating menu boards for both company-owned and franchise locations, ensuring accurate pricing and alignment with brand standards.
POTENTIAL PROJECTS:
- You will complete various email & social offer campaigns throughout the summer as well as supporting the build out of signage for various doughnut launches.
- Build a full marketing campaign and strategy around a doughnut collection.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
- Recent or current undergrad/grad students who have or will graduate between May 2025 - May 2027.
- Holds a recent degree or pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Arts, or similar areas of study.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Has intellectual curiosity, is passionate about learning, and ready to take on new opportunities
- Strong communication skills (written & oral) with attention to detail
- Ability to engage and work with cross-functional partners across the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, and work under tight timelines.
- Ability to efficiently work in an office environment.
- And of course, loves doughnuts!
