Description
Summary:
Responsible for creating visual designs across a variety of mediums, including logos, collateral, direct mail, editorial layouts, and event graphics such as signage, handouts, booth displays, and more. Basic digital design and layout skills are a plus. This role involves concept development for marketing programs and campaigns, designing supporting graphics, and collaborating with print vendors to ensure successful project completion. Experience in print production is highly desirable.
Essential Job Duties
- Design and produce artwork and layouts for event collateral, marketing materials, presentations, and related projects.
- Translate ideas and directions into compelling, creative designs.
- Collaborate effectively with the Art Director, marketing strategists, copywriters, and digital programmers.
- Present ideas and concepts to team members, accept feedback, and incorporate direction.
- Work with outside vendors such as printers and photographers, including obtaining cost estimates.
- Prepare final files for print production and oversee vendor relationships to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Deliver artwork within specified timelines and meet all project deadlines.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure designs meet client and team specifications and are error-free.
- Create executive-level presentations in PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Apply knowledge of digital design and layout for email, website front-end, and social media graphics.
- Navigate multiple approval processes and coordinate with various stakeholders to complete projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and flexibility to pivot as project requirements evolve.
Reporting Relationships
- Reports to Manager, Creative Services
- Collaborates with project managers for executional direction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Acrobat, and Mac OS
- Basic understanding of print processes and experience working with print vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work during standard business hours – onsite and remotely as directed by business
- Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Compensation
Compensation Range: $57,000 - $65,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
