Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York City for a Capital Markets Analyst. Day-to-day responsibilities include rate locking fixed rate DSCR loans for brokers and borrowers. Communicating with institutional counterparties to trade whole loans. Hedging fixed rate loan risk and assisting the capital markets team in whole loan financing and trading.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
- Experience preparing reports, and presenting data-informed insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and analytical tools
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills within a cross-functional team environment
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of prior experience in capital markets, investment banking, or real estate finance is a plus
