Position description
We are looking for an estimator to join our team! The estimator is responsible maintaining positive clientele relations, greeting and engaging with customers in our showroom and walking them through the countertop process (selections, questions about customization, etc). The estimator would then prepare full estimates on new or remodel projects as requested by client's proposals, blueprints, specifications and other related documents to provide complete conceptual and total bid prices. Once quotes are approved, estimator would then prepare the job file in Quickbooks and Moraware.
Estimator Required Qualifications/Skills
- High School Diploma
- Attention to detail and basic-intermediate mathematical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain effective working dialogue with clients and team members
- Self motivated with problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
Estimator Recommended Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in the design/construction industry and/or estimating
- Familiarity with Architectural and cabinetry plans
- Knowledge of Quickbooks software
