At Notion Strategies, we help organizations reach their full potential through compelling stories and credible voices. Our mission is straightforward: create the buy-in that every business needs from customers, investors, employees, and other stakeholders to grow and scale. We do this with our simple, powerful 4C Operating Model: Craft (building strategic narratives that resonate), Connect (amplifying those stories to the right audiences through the right channels), Credibility (establishing trusted, authoritative voices that stand the test of time), and Catalyze (sparking action and lasting impact).
We deliver integrated services ranging from content creation and public relations to executive communications, thought leadership, crisis response, and change management. Our team thrives in a fast-paced world where curiosity drives innovation, collaboration fuels results, and every project ladders up to real business impact. We are looking for a modern polymath, someone who embodies versatility, intellectual hunger, and resilience, to join us in this work.
Role Overview
Our “Leads” play a central role in bringing our operating model to life for clients. You will handle a wide range of assignments, moving fluidly between crafting high-impact content, orchestrating amplification strategies, and supporting credibility-building efforts. Client service is at the heart of everything: you will build deep, trust-based relationships, anticipate needs, solve problems creatively, and deliver results that drive growth and alignment. This is a high-velocity role that rewards quick learning, bold thinking, and the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft compelling stories: Write and develop strategic content including blog posts, white papers, case studies, op-eds, speeches, social media posts, and more. Use frameworks like OAR to ensure every piece aligns with client goals, speaks to the right audience, and inspires action. Bonus points for bringing visual storytelling into the mix through infographics, video scripts, or other creative formats.
- Connect stories to audiences: Plan and execute amplification across channels including media outreach, press releases, social media strategy and management, webinars, podcasts, speaking engagements, and digital campaigns. Apply tools like the OASIS framework and Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize efforts and maximize reach, then use data to refine and improve.
- Build credibility: Support executive thought leadership, media training, spokesperson coaching, employee engagement, change communications, and crisis response. Draw on frameworks like Whole Brain® Thinking to help position leaders and organizations as trusted authorities in their fields. Handle high-stakes moments with composure and strategic clarity.
- Deliver world-class client service: Own client relationships from initial kickoffs (often starting with our "two truths and a lie" exercise) through ongoing partnership. Understand audience insights, maintain brand alignment, and guide clients toward solutions that create lasting buy-in.
- Integrate technology: Stay proficient with tools for content creation, analytics, project management, and emerging platforms. Use technology to boost efficiency, measure impact, and uncover new ways to serve clients. This is non-negotiable.
- Learn and adapt fast: Rapidly master new domains, industries, tools, or challenges as client needs evolve. Bring insatiable curiosity to every project and thick skin to navigate feedback, tight deadlines, and unexpected turns.
- Collaborate across the board: Work closely with internal team members, clients, and external partners to integrate efforts and deliver seamless, high-quality results.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years in client-facing roles, ideally in communications, PR, consulting, content strategy, or related fields, with demonstrated excellence in client service and measurable impact.
- Outstanding writing ability to produce clear, persuasive, strategic content across multiple formats. Visual storytelling experience is a strong plus.
- Strong technology savviness: Comfortable with content tools, analytics platforms, project management software, and new/emerging tech. Proven ability to learn and adopt tools quickly.
- Core traits we value highly:
*Ability to learn hard things fast, shown through past rapid upskilling in complex areas.
*Insatiable curiosity, evident in self-directed exploration, side projects, or continuous learning.
*Thick skin: Resilience in high-pressure settings, openness to direct feedback, and positive response to challenges.
- Alignment with Notion's core capabilities: Strategic storytelling, clear communication, relationship building, strategic thinking, media/digital savvy, creative problem-solving, quantitative literacy, project management, adaptability, audience insight, composure, brand alignment, collaboration, time management, and persuasive influence.
Beyond the paycheck:
- Unlimited PTO
- 100% remote
- Medical, dental and vision
- Annual personal professional development budget
