To support our continued growth, we are expanding our New York team and are seeking a Junior Designer – Back Office to support technical design and project development activities within a structured and professional environment.
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in European/Italian kitchen, bathroom, or interior systems design (experience in design studios or structured showrooms preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of the metric system
- Familiarity with mid- to high-end appliances, materials, and interior systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience with Metron or 2020 Design software (at least one required)
- Fluent in English
- Italian language skills are a plus, not required
- Availability and flexibility to travel to Italy for professional training, conferences, and key company events
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical design and development of kitchens, bathrooms, systems, closets, and living space projects in accordance with Scavolini standards
- Produce precise technical drawings, layouts, and dimensional verifications
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and detailed project information
- Coordinate with internal teams including technical office, project management, and production
- Provide technical and design support to the sales team during both pre-order and post-order phases
- Ensure accuracy, compliance with product specifications, and adherence to pricing structures
