Position: Lead Full Stack Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Pay: $160,000 – $210,000/year
Experience: At least 7 years of professional full stack software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams, and proven experience designing and running production systems at scale.
Education: Engineering degree or equivalent professional coding experience.

We’re looking for experienced builders who enjoy solving meaningful problems for the frontline and essential economy with technology, especially when the solution doesn’t look like a traditional app. This role is ideal for engineers who think in systems, challenge assumptions, and use modern tools to turn intent into outcomes. You will own critical parts of the platform, shape architecture, influence product direction, and lead a team of engineers to deliver exceptional results.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers through clear organization, communication, and motivation.
- Build and operate distributed systems at scale using cloud infrastructure.
- Design and run production systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.
- Apply strong application design principles to make architecture decisions with broad impact.
- Own complex features and systems end-to-end, from design through production deployment.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into stable, scalable engineering solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience leading a team of 3 or more engineers.
- Experience designing and running production systems at scale on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong technical judgment across system architecture, data, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems at scale.
- Proficiency with modern full stack technologies including C# and React.js.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to work onsite in Raleigh, NC.
