JOB TITLE: Trainee, Retail Operations
REPORTS TO: Senior Director, Retail Operations
Job Purpose
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day-to-day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to our Executive Leadership Team. The Retail Operations Trainee is responsible for supporting the Retail Operations team in delivering consistent, efficient store operations across the retail network. This role contributes to operational excellence by managing key administrative tasks, documenting processes, and assisting with the development of SOPs and training materials. Through data collection and analysis, KPI tracking, and field feedback gathering, the trainee helps identify opportunities for improvement and supports compliance, audit readiness, and ongoing departmental initiatives.

Tasks & Responsiblities
Administrative and Operational Coordination
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including calendar coordination, preparation of presentations, reports, and internal communications.
- Organize and maintain departmental digital assets (SharePoint/Teams).
- Manage administrative aspects of the retail uniform program, including allocation tracking, order processing, and boutique communication and distribution.
Operational Performance & Insights
- Track and analyze boutique, regional, and system performance data, including compliance, inventory accuracy, and audit-related reporting.
- Conduct boutique visits to gather operational feedback and assess Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) adherence, identifying gaps for improvement.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities from data and field observations to inform operational updates.
- Analyze and present data in a meaningful way to support actionable insights that drive leadership decision-making and operational enhancements.
Retail Excellence & Projects Support
- Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials, presentations, and digital content for Retail Excellence training for internal learning platforms and new store openings
- Assist in development, maintenance, and distribution of boutique materials for 5S Sustainability and other retail excellence initiatives
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and departmental projects, including scheduling, material preparation, participant communication, and on-site or virtual support
- Contribute to various departmental goals by assisting with tasks and smaller projects.
Profile
Requirements
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Full-time, 12-month program from July 2026 through July 2027
- Available to work M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
- Strong English communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent follow-through practices
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have an extremely strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
- Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power BI & Outlook)
- Adobe photoshop experience is a plus

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
