They are known for their underwriting discipline, strong broker relationships, and continued growth.
They are currently looking to onboard a Contract Surety Underwriter to support growth across their national platform. The ideal candidate will have experience underwriting contract surety risks and working closely with brokers.

What you’ll do:
- Underwrite contract surety risks including bid, performance, and payment bonds
- Analyze financial statements, work programs, and credit quality
- Structure and negotiate bond terms with brokers
- Manage renewals and maintain underwriting discipline
- Partner with leadership on portfolio strategy
What we’re looking for:
- Experience underwriting contract surety at a carrier or MGA
- Strong financial and credit analysis skills
- Broker-facing underwriting experience
- Active Surety or P&C license (or ability to obtain)
