Job Description
This role can be based in Mountain View or Sunnyvale.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are seeking a Project Manager for the Transformation Management Office to support the Global Talent Organization’s multiple, concurrent talent initiatives of varying size and complexity. This role partners with senior project managers to plan, manage, and deliver strategic, cross‑functional projects that enable employees to do their best work and drive meaningful business outcomes.
The role emphasizes strong project structure, high‑quality deliverables, and proactive planning to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate aligns stakeholders across all levels, communicates clearly against project goals, and applies human‑centered design within an agile project management approach.
Responsibilities:
- Support lead project managers on multiple concurrent enterprise talent initiatives across business, technology, process, and change domains
- Develop and manage project roadmaps and plans; monitor execution and take corrective action to stay on track
- Own scope management, including change control, impact assessment, and timeline adjustments
- Track actions, risks, issues, and dependencies; maintain logs and mitigation plans to drive efficient delivery
- Prepare clear project reporting and proactively escalate risks and issues
- Support end‑to‑end project execution from initiation through close‑out
- Bring structure to ambiguity through analytical, creative problem solving
- Apply TMO‑defined agile and human‑centered design practices with a continuous‑improvement mindset
- Manage stakeholders effectively and produce crisp, right‑sized documentation
- Translate outcomes into lightweight plans (goals, milestones, decisions) and adapt as priorities evolve
- Lead pragmatic project rituals (standups, reviews, retros) tailored to the work
- Partner closely with HR Tech, Change, Process Excellence, business, and tech teams to deliver outcomes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or related work experience
- 4+ years of experience within Project Management and/or Management Consulting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with design thinking and agile methodologies
- Proven experience delivering cross‑functional initiatives using end‑to‑end project management frameworks, (non-technical) agile, and human‑centered design
- Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organizational levels; HR experience a plus
- Experience with cloud‑based tools (e.g., Office 365, Google Suite, Smartsheet)
- Strong facilitation and communication skills to drive project progress
- Able to prioritize effectively, adapt to changing demands, and operate professionally in fast‑paced environments
- Analytical problem solver with strong judgment and ability to work independently
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities with disciplined organization and time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive in anticipating and mitigating project risks
- Collaborative team player with a track record of delivering results across functions

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $93,000 to $152,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
