4D Signworx has been designing, fabricating, and installing custom signage in Houston since 1968. We’re hiring a Graphic Artist with hands-on experience designing fabricated signs in CorelDRAW.
If you understand how great sign design translates into real-world fabrication and installation, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Create production-ready sign designs in CorelDRAW for fabricated signage projects
- Develop layouts for:
- Monument signs
- Pole signs
- Channel letters
- Cabinet signs
- Dimensional lettering and branded elements
- Prepare accurate files for fabrication, CNC routing, printing, and installation
- Interpret project specs, site photos, and field measurements
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Fabrication, and Installation teams
- Revise artwork quickly based on internal and client feedback
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Graphic Artist in the sign industry
- Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW (required)
- Understanding of fabrication methods, material constraints, and install considerations
- Ability to build clean, scaled, production-ready artwork
- Strong typography, layout, and brand consistency skills
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and team-focused
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with large-format print prep and cut files
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (plus)
- Knowledge of sign permitting/package drawing standards (plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Pay + schedule
- Pay is dependent on experience
