Jr. UX/UI Designer- Digital Pro CX

Pella Corporation is seeking a UX/UI Designer to create exceptional web and mobile application experiences. - Collaborate with Product, Technology, and end users to understand key objectives and pain points to deliver a digital customer experience that is both engaging and highly functional in web & mobile applications.
- Specialize in developing native components and delivering a UI that emphasizes simplicity, intuitive interactions, and core functionality.
- Understand the difference between a mobile app and web portal when designing the UI and components.
- Work closely with software developers to ensure that components are programmable and feasible for native mobile & web development.
- Assist the UX Lead in creating high-fidelity designs that turn strategic direction into features and user stories.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the design library used across digital tools (web and mobile) as well as multiple websites.

Plan, execute, and deliver thoughtful and well-informed User Interaction Design
- Create wireframes and clickable AI enhanced prototypes using design system components.
- Leverage Universal Design System to drive brand cohesive UI.
- Create UI variations for A/B testing.
- Create/update documentation of key screens and user workflows.

Support the Senior UX team members in gathering insights that inform strong UX strategies and lead to industry leading digital experiences across web and mobile.
- Prep for collaborative cross functional workshops.
- Audit existing experiences across platforms.
- Gather evidence for strategic recommendations.
- Help create UX affinity maps, journey maps, & task flows that inform intuitive UI and experiential direction.
- Participate in user research sessions capturing and refining data and outputs.
Experience & Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design is preferred; however, candidates with a related design degree paired with a UX/UI certification are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience designing both native mobile and web applications; familiarity with React Native is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with Figma (exposure to Figma Make is a plus), analytics tools and dashboards such as Power BI, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, is preferred.
