Role Overview:
The Assistant Merchandiser of Streetwear at Dover Street Market New York and Los Angeles plays a critical support role within a fast-paced, highly curated retail environment. This position partners closely with the Merchandiser to ensure accurate product and purchase order management, and the integrity of all merchandise data and reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with foundational merchandising experience who is eager to contribute to a high-energy, fashion-forward landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clerical and organizational support for our fast-paced Merchandising Department.
- Performing data entry in an accurate and timely manner.
- Facilitating buying process and purchase order entry pre-season and in-season.
- Product-related data entry in Excel and Retail Pro.
- Maintaining records and filing system with extreme attention to detail
- Cataloguing new merchandise consistently throughout the season
- Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting.
- General Inventory maintenance including management of transfers, RTVs, replenishment, chase, etc.
- Liaise with all suppliers, maintaining a good relationship and ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in a correct manner
- Work closely with Logistics partner to ensure product is received accurately/timely to ensure product launches on time
- Collaborate closely with E-Commerce team to drive digital growth
- Partner frequently with Store Management & Back of House Team for operational execution with product movements in and out of the store
- Ensure high hype launches are executed smoothly with raffle system & security needs
- Responsible for owning special project tasks as assigned.

Skills
- 1-2 year’s Merchandising experience preferred (internships can count)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in merchandising or fashion management desired.
