We are seeking a strong background in business process optimization to join our IT consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to analyze current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized, technology-enabled solutions that drive measurable business value. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and existing processes
- Conduct current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) process analysis using industry-standard methodologies
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities across people, process, and technology
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather and validate business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, including functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented
- Support process redesign, automation, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., ERP, CRM, workflow tools)
- Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of optimized processes
- Support change management efforts, including documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and solution validation
- Provide consulting recommendations grounded in best practices and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an IT consulting or professional services environment
- Proven experience in business process analysis and optimization
- Strong understanding of process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, swimlane diagrams, value stream mapping)
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements in Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with process automation, RPA, or low-code/no-code platforms
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or enterprise workflow solutions
- Consulting experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, or Scrum-related certifications
- Experience supporting digital transformation or large-scale system implementations
