Overview
We are seeking an ERP Implementation Consultant for our client, AES Building Services, to lead the implementation and optimization of their ERP, Sage Intacct. You will be the primary link between the business requirements and technical solutions. Your goal is to streamline operations, eliminate data silos, and clarify business processes. You should be someone who enjoys digging into the "why" behind a business process and isn't afraid to suggest a better way of doing things.
This is a short-term, project based consulting role best suited for someone who can think and work strategically while also rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
While this is a hybrid flexible position, it does require someone who is able to commute into the office as needed to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis: Facilitate conversations with stakeholders to gather requirements and map current business processes to future-state solutions that will be supported by Sage Intacct.
- System Configuration: Customize and configure Sage Intacct to meet specific business needs without compromising system integrity. Understand the limitations of Sage Intacct and educate the business on effective adjustments. Implement APIs to optimize the use of Sage.
- Testing & QA: Lead all system testing - including but limited to System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing to ensure a bug-free go-live.
- Training & Support: Create user manuals, SOPs, and conduct training sessions for various departments; provide immediate post-go-live hypercare support. Lead knowledge transfer to the existing team for long-term maintenance and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation or module integrations (e.g., CRM, E-commerce, or BI tools) to increase ROI.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience implementing Sage Intacct, required
- Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification, preferred
- Strong understanding of core business processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, or basic scripting is a major plus
- Exceptional communication skills; you must be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors must be legally authorized to perform services in the United States. The company is not able to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
