We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting within the construction industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in advanced Excel functions, and enjoys working with large datasets to uncover meaningful insights.
Responsibilities:
• Perform financial data analysis and input information into spreadsheets with multiple tabs and complex formulas.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and interpret large datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support the bid and proposal process by preparing budgets, bills of material, and energy savings calculations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for reports and proposals.
• Review and organize lighting audit information, transferring it into spreadsheets and Smartsheets.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements throughout the financial reporting process.
• Assist in developing and maintaining databases of financial documents and reports.
• Provide timely updates and progress reports to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the optimization of data workflows.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to work efficiently with large datasets and multi-tab spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with financial analysis concepts and reporting processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar tools is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable but not required.
