Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Banking Analyst, based in Bellevue, WA. The analyst will assist in preparing financial models, conducting due diligence, and analyzing market trends to support transactions. The role involves creating detailed presentations, conducting financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions, and working closely with senior team members and clients on various financial projects. The candidate will play a critical role in deal execution and other transactional processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, and transaction scenarios
- Conduct company and industry research to support client engagements and business development
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents
- Support all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, data room management, and coordination with external parties
- Analyze financial statements and key performance metrics to assess business performance
- Assist in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a related field preferred
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in working with founder-led and growth-stage businesses
