Experience Designers sit at the intersection of experience strategy, concepting/prototyping, information architecture, and human factors — driven by consumer insights and business strategy and powered by digital technology. This can be applied to a wide range of products and services, including websites, mobile apps, physical products, and even customer service interactions. They are the primary architects of the behavior of the experience, and collaborate with different team leads to ensure that the design meets both business goals and user needs. And while the end user doesn’t see the back-end work, it forms the foundational framework for the design and functionality of the final product.
Responsibilities
The Day-to-Day:
As an Experience Designer, you will get the opportunity to understand experience design and how it affects users. You will follow the design thinking process to create great experiences in key areas that reflect Razorfish's capabilities: content/campaigns, products/platforms, and physical/digital. You will extrapolate research insights, strategic direction and translate them into tangible representations that enables your team to focus on the right experience based on given constraints. Our team leads willl guide you so you can build through knowledge of user journeys and personas, translating user needs into user flows, and creating a clear website structure with site maps. And eventually you will plan the content and visual elements on a wireframe or sketch format.
