A leading NYC-based University is seeking a technically proficient CRM Marketing Specialist to support the Strategic Marketing and Communications team. This role is focused on the execution and maintenance of high-volume email campaigns and portal updates using Slate (Technolutions).
This is a specialized temporary engagement designed to bridge a gap in our CRM operations. After an initial in-office training period in NYC, the role will transition to a fully remote schedule.
Slate Email Execution: Set up and deploy email campaigns within the Slate environment. (Experience with other enterprise CRMs/Email Marketing systems is acceptable if the candidate has strong technical aptitude).
Content Migration: Carefully move existing content from Google Docs into formatted Slate templates.
Advanced Formatting: Implement graphics and dynamic content, including the use of Content Blocks and Liquid Markup.
Technical Proofreading: Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks, including rendering tests across devices, link verification, and formatting audits.
Portal Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on Slate portals, specifically updating and editing events pages as schedules evolve.
Project Tracking: Maintain real-time progress updates within the Asana project management system.
CRM Expertise: Direct experience with Slate (Technolutions) is highly preferred. Candidates with heavy experience in Salesforce (Marketing Cloud), HubSpot, or Marketo will be considered.
Technical Markup: Familiarity with Liquid Markup or similar logic-based dynamic content tools.
Meticulous Detail: Strong technical proofreading skills with a "zero-error" approach to links and rendering.
Project Management: Experience working within Asana or similar platforms (Jira, Monday.com).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related technical field.
