Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing team with a strong emphasis on social media management and tradeshow planning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative work with logistics, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to help bring brand initiatives to life across digital and in-person channels.
Key Responsibilities -
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Assist with planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok as applicable)
- Support the development of social media campaigns aligned with brand and marketing goals
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and flag opportunities for engagement or growth
- Track performance metrics and help prepare reports on social media effectiveness
- Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices
Tradeshow & Event Planning
- Manage the planning and coordinating of tradeshows, conferences, and marketing events
- Support logistics such as booth materials, shipping, signage, promotional items, and vendor coordination
- Help manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets
- Assist with pre- and post-event marketing activities, including email campaigns and social media promotion
- Assist with follow-up organization, and post-event reporting
General Marketing Support
- Provide administrative and project support to the marketing manager
- Assist with content creation for marketing materials such as presentations, flyers, and email campaigns
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent branding and messaging
- Assist with internal employee event planning in collaboration with HR and party planning committee (e.g., Monthly Lunches, Holiday Party)
- Maintain organized records of marketing assets, calendars, and campaigns
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or event coordination (internships included)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling/analytics tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting tradeshows or live events
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools
- Interest in analytics and performance tracking
