Job Description: Designer
About The Role
Seeking a talented and driven Designer to join our growing design team. This is a newly created position within our five-person design team, offering a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role across the full design lifecycle. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the Designer will contribute creatively from initial concept through to final product execution, working across multiple accessory categories.
With no dedicated Technical Design (TD) or Product Development (PD) counterparts, this role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is confident managing both creative and executional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop accessories across multiple product categories, aligned with the brand vision and seasonal direction
- Contribute to the conceptualisation, design, and creation of products from initial idea through to final approval
- Work closely with the Creative Director to translate creative direction into commercially viable designs
- Prepare and manage detailed design packs, including sketches, specifications, materials, and trims
- Liaise directly with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are met
- Support sampling, revisions, and approvals throughout the development process
- Collaborate with the wider design team to maintain consistency across collections
- Stay informed on trends, materials, and market insights relevant to accessories
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Designer, ideally within accessories or fashion
- Strong end-to-end design capability, from concept through to production
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in the absence of TD/PD support
- Strong technical understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas within a close-knit team
- Passion for accessories and a strong aesthetic aligned with the brand
Salary $60,000-$90,000
