Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. They are a global leader in designing and building multi-core cables, assemblies, and harnesses for environments subjected to extreme temperatures, corrosive fluids, and mechanical stresses. In this role, you will be part of the manufacturing engineering team working on complex projects, including designing, simulating, and implementing molding machinery and processes. You’ll also be responsible for constructing equipment and fixtures, analyzing production processes to improve automation, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to set up and maintain molding production lines. Your efforts will help document and enhance our molding processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
In this role, you will be expected to support and develop molding systems, assist with equipment procurement and installation, troubleshoot existing systems, and implement process improvements. You will also contribute to safety standards compliance and participate in cross-functional meetings to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience supporting and designing molds and molding systems
- Hands-on experience in a production and/or assembly environment
- Equipment troubleshooting skills, including debugging and system analysis
- Experience with Encapsulation molding, transfer molding, compression molding, and/or potting preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain process documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-disciplinary teams
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
