The Role
As the Creative Marketing Specialist, you will be the creative heartbeat for our partner churches. This is a hybrid role that requires a unique blend of high-end design talent, strategic storytelling, and relational account management. You won’t just be “making graphics”—you will be helping churches define their digital identity and ensuring their message is heard clearly across every channel.
Main Responsibilities
- Website Design & Strategy: Lead the design and creative direction for church websites, ensuring they are not only beautiful but also streamlined to sync communications effectively.
- Creative Storytelling: Translate a church’s mission into compelling visual narratives across websites, social media, digital ads, and print media.
- Digital Outreach & Ads: Design and oversee creative assets for the Church Growth Social Media Ads Package.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary creative point of contact for clients, guiding them through the design process, managing expectations, and ensuring their vision is realized.
- Brand Stewardship: Help churches develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all communication.
- Deliverable Management: Oversee the end-to-end production of all digital creative deliverables, ensuring they are high-quality, on time, and aligned with the Tent Apps blueprint.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graphic Design Experience: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
- Web Design Excellence: Proven experience in designing modern, user-centric websites. WordPress preference
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to understand a church’s unique community and create help them solve problems as they arise in their digital outreach.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing account management.
- Ministry Mindset: A heart for the local church and an understanding of the unique challenges church communicators face.
