Position Overview
The Generative Search Executive (GSE) is the primary PPC/Search strategist for the pod. Owning the search strategy, performance analysis, and data storytelling across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Local Service Ads. This role acts as the knowledge expert in paid search best practices and translates complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for clients and the internal team. The GSE is accountable for channel performance and works closely with the Paid Media Specialist on execution.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
Search Strategy & Optimization
- Act as the primary PPC/Search Strategist for assigned accounts.
- Own paid strategy adjustments, including tCPA changes, offer updates, campaign structure, and budget allocations.
- Deep dive accounts for continuous performance improvements.
- Conduct new vertical research and lead implementation.
- Manage phone number and call-flow updates for search campaigns.
Performance Analysis & Storytelling
- Conduct performance deep dives across Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Develop and present performance reports, creating straightforward data storytelling around paid media performance and impact on business outcomes.
- Own OCI maintenance and updates, ensuring accurate offline conversion data.
- Deliver data storytelling on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and LSA performance.
Client-Facing & Coordination
- Lead the bi-monthly meeting cadence on the search side for non-Base CAMP accounts and the monthly cadence for Base CAMP accounts.
- Prepare search-focused agendas, insights, and recommendations ahead of meetings.
- Coordinate with Paid Media Specialists on the execution of campaign changes.
Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years experience managing PPC campaigns at scale (Google & Bing).
- Deep familiarity with conversion tracking and OCI/offline conversion setups.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Able to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights.
Compensation
Annual salary: $60,000 to $75,000 (Dependent on qualifications)
