Junior Marketing Sales Manager, Football
Job Description: The position of the Junior Marketing Sales Manager, Football, will support athlete
marketing and brand partnership initiatives. The role focuses on identifying, building and
maintaining relationships with brands and companies to build partnership opportunities, and
impactful marketing and endorsement deals for the athletes within our football division. The ideal
candidate is socially aware, understands the evolving sports landscape and is motivated to help
athletes connect with brands in authentic and commercially valuable ways.
The role is based in our NYC Corporate Office and will have a dual report to both the Senior Manager
and VP of Football Operations
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, and corporate partners to create
marketing and endorsement opportunities for athletes
• Identify, pitch, and secure brand partnership opportunities aligned with athletes’ personal
brands and market positioning
• Support the development and execution of athlete marketing strategies across partnerships,
campaigns, and appearances
• Monitor social, cultural, and market trends to identify emerging brand opportunities and
relevant partnership ideas
• Collaborate with internal teams to package athletes for brand deals, campaigns, and
promotional opportunities
• Assist in preparing pitch materials, partnership proposals, and marketing presentations for
prospective brand partners
• Track and support the execution of brand campaigns, ensuring deliverables are met and
partnerships run smoothly
• Maintain strong communication with brand partners and internal stakeholders throughout
the lifecycle of partnerships
• Stay informed on athlete marketing trends, NIL opportunities, and broader sports
marketing developments
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in marketing, partnerships, brand sales,
or sports marketing
• 1–3 years of experience working in sports is preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong relationship-building and communication skill
• Understanding of brand marketing, partnerships, and social media culture
• Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in athlete branding and
sports business
Compensation:
Salary range of $55,000 to $65,000
Ultimately, the salary will be based upon, but not limited to relevant experience and time in role, among other criteria. Please note, that the the position's pay range is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to pay transparency law.
