Inside Sales Representative
About the Role
We are a fast-growing wholesale distributor seeking an ambitious, intelligent, and dynamic professional to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the "hub" of our operations—acting as the vital link between customers, the warehouse, and our sales team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to collaborative success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Operations: Utilize cloud-based CRM/ERP software to process invoices, manage sales orders, and document all customer interactions.
- Customer Engagement: Handle incoming phone, email, and fax inquiries; manage a proactive "courtesy call" list for existing accounts to ensure retention.
- Logistics & Coordination: Schedule pickups and deliveries; coordinate with freight carriers and warehouse staff to resolve delays or shipping issues.
- Sales Support: Prepare price quotes and facilitate the distribution of sample boxes and marketing materials to prospective clients.
- Process Improvement: Represent the customer’s voice to management and work cross-functionally with Purchasing and Outside Sales to improve service strategies and internal workflows.
- Organization: Maintain a disciplined follow-up system and meet specific performance goals defined in your Performance Agreement.
Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent phone presence with well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Technical Savvy: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a strong understanding of CRM systems.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency and de-escalate customer issues effectively.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
